A different approach to Consulting

With two decades of experience in education-focused organizations, I’ve learned that when capable, dedicated leaders struggle to meet their goals, it’s often because of one (or both) of two reasons:

  1. Leadership is pulled in too many directions, priorities are unclear or constantly shifting, and the number of changes they want to make exceeds the available time, energy, and capacity.

  2. Decisions about change are made without involving the people who will need to adjust their work to make it happen.

Frequently, consultants are brought in when leaders realize their plan isn’t working or they lack the capacity for change. However, these consultants often work with a limited understanding of the real problem and are given tasks that end up being misaligned or ineffective.

Let’s get things done, better!

Good Question Consulting offers a unique approach to strategy consulting by focusing on deep problem diagnosis and wayfinding from the start. Clients are encouraged to bring their values, dreams, concerns, and ideas rather than specific tasks. The process is inquiry-based, helping clients pinpoint challenges, articulate goals, and prioritize actions in a realistic and energy-conscious way. As a coach, accountability partner, and cheerleader, I help clients navigate daily operational demands while maintaining focus on long-term change. I ensure an inclusive decision-making process, gathering meaningful input from those affected by change and using it to inform action plans, all while making engagement efficient and impactful.
